ICAO compliant aviation obstruction light systems for tall buildings
Buildings at particular heights should be marked with aircraft warning lights to maintain aviation safety.
The aviation obstruction lights should meet the technical requirements stated in local and international regulations and they should have ICAO or FAA certification.

The appropriate intensity of aviation obstruction lights should be chosen depending on the height of the buildings.
1) If the height of the building is less than 45 meters, then only low intensity aviation obstruction lights are ok.
2) If the height of the building is between 105 meters and 45 meters, medium intensity aviation obstruction lights should be installed at the top level and low intensity aviation obstruction lights should be installed at intermediate level.
3) If the height of the building is higher than 105 meters, then there should be 4 levels with medium and low intensity aviation obstruction lights respectively.
4) If the height of the building is more than 150 meters, then high intensity aviation obstruction lights shall be used.
